EverLogic System Architecture
EverLogic works for multi-point businesses. The architecture is setup as a web service that connects to the database. A smart-client application is installed on your workstation (PC or laptop) that allows you to login securely to the web service. This design promotes application usability, scalability and security.
EverLogic allows for unlimited locations and workstations. All you need is a Windows computer and high speed Internet connection (3G, 4G, T-1, DSL, Cable, Satellite). It will work on dial-up in a pinch but performance will be limited.
The application has several features that promote multi-locations operations. It allows each location to have its own inventory (serialized, parts, and accessories) which can be shared amongst all locations. Parts can be searched for in other locations to check on availability and parts can be transferred. Equally as important, serialized inventory can be shared and deals can be quoted. There are controls built in to the package to ensure that inventory is accounted for, over-selling serialized inventory is impossible, and protection of salespeople’s prospects and opportunities is in place.
Setup Multiple Locations
To add additional locations, you simply need to add a location record and configure the business rules for the location, such as sales tax, dealer license numbers and demographic information.
For management, you can simply swap your default location to the store you are currently working at. If you are analyzing your entire business, reports and lists can be displayed for all locations or drilled-down into individiual locations and employees.
